Kemijoen Helmi is a river ferry taking a hundred passengers. The homeport for the ferry is Lainaanranta, right by town centre of Rovaniemi.

The Ferry is completely covered, so the weather does not attect the ferry cruises. The Kemijoen Helmi travels from Lainaanranta under the town`s great bridges, towards the Kotisaari island to return via the Suutarinkorva bridge and the Ounaspaviljonki pavillionat at the other end of town. The Cruise takes about two hours.
